Here you will find the most frequently asked questions about tandem skydiving:

Is there an Age or Weight Restriction for a Tandem Jump?

Basic requirements:
A basic “normal” fitness is essential for the safe execution of a tandem jump.
A healthy musculoskeletal system and a healthy cardiovascular system are also a basic requirement for skydiving.
Of course, a tandem guest must be free of alcohol, drugs and painkillers on the day of the jump.
Height and weight:
Any height between 1.40m and 2.00m can be jumped without any problems.
If you are taller or shorter, you should contact us before booking.
Too much (excess) weight can unfortunately be an exclusion criterion!
The so-called Body Mass Index (BMI) is the most reliable indicator here.
Women should have a BMI of 27.5 or less, and their weight should be between 40kg and max 90kg.
Men should have a BMI of 30 or less, and their weight should be between 40kg and max 90kg.
If you are not within or on the border of these parameters, we recommend that you contact us before booking.
In exceptional cases and provided that the BMI is correspondingly low, we can also jump with guests weighing slightly more than 90kg for an additional charge.
Again, we recommend that you contact us in advance.
On the day of their appointment, they will be weighed on site by our staff (including shoes and clothing!).
If a tandem guest is not within the recommended parameters of height, weight and BMI, this does not create any entitlement to a refund of the booked service!
Age:
The minimum age is 14 years, there is no maximum age as long as the basic requirements for fitness, musculoskeletal system and cardiovascular system are met. For minors, at least one parent or guardian must be present on the day of the jump. A written declaration of consent with a copy of the identity card from the second parent or guardian is sufficient.

Are there any Health Restrictions for Skydiving?

Yes, the musculoskeletal system – spine and joints – should be healthy. The heart and circulatory system must be in order and there must be no mental illnesses. If in doubt, please contact your family doctor or a specialist beforehand. A minimum level of physical fitness is required!

How much Time Do I Need to Plan for My Tandem Jump?

You should plan about 3 hours for a tandem jump. The briefing takes place in groups to enable a faster process. If the weather is bad, there may be delays.

How Long Does the Preparation Take?

The briefing on the ground takes about 15 minutes. During the preparation, the tandem master explains the type and function of the equipment, discusses the individual phases of the jump and clearly demonstrates the different positions during take-off, free fall and landing.

From What Height Do I Jump and how Long Does the Tandem Jump Last?

You jump from a height of around 4,000 meters. The free fall lasts about 50 seconds and the flight phase with the parachute lasts another five to seven minutes.

Can Friends or Family Members Accompany Me in the Plane or Jump at the Same Time?

Every passenger in our jump plane must be equipped for a skydiving. For this reason, it is not possible to simply “fly along”. If you want to skydive with several people, we will of course try to schedule you as a group accordingly.

How Hard is the Landing?

The landing on a skydiving is comparable to jumping from a chair. The extra-large parachute slows the speed down to a minimum. The behavior during landing is discussed and trained during the preparation and afterwards on the open screen. The instructions of the tandem master are of course to be followed.

What clothes should I wear?

Comfortable, sporty clothing and sneakers are ideal for skydiving. We provide a jumpsuit, leather cap and goggles for your tandem jump free of charge.

Is it a problem if I wear glasses or contact lenses?

We have special overglasses for people who wear glasses. Contact lenses are also not a problem when skydiving.

Do you jump in all weather conditions?

No! Of course, skydiving as an outdoor sport is highly dependent on the weather conditions. Therefore, we will postpone the planned jump in case of rain, a closed cloud cover or an approaching thunderstorm. If bad weather is predicted, you should contact us at short notice to discuss the further procedure.

How far in advance do I have to book the date for my tandem jump?

You book your skydiving by phone two to three weeks before your desired date.

How much does a tandem jump cost?

Here you can find the current prices for skydiving.

Can I give a tandem jump as a voucher?

Of course, we also offer vouchers for tandem jumps. To give a tandem jump voucher, simply fill out our order form.

What do I do if I enjoyed it so much that I want to become a skydiver myself?

Then you can do a so-called AFF training with us and with a little luck and talent you will be able to jump out of the plane alone within a week!
